How to play
- The snake keeps moving on its own; you only choose where it turns. Left click turns it left and right click turns it right, relative to the way it is heading, wherever on the screen you click.
- You can also steer from the number keys: key 1 turns left and key 2 turns right, the same way. Either key starts a run from the ready screen, so you never have to touch the mouse.
- An apple makes the snake one segment longer.
- A golden apple turns up now and then after you eat an apple. It adds two segments and pays well, but it rots away after about six seconds if you do not reach it.
- The snake begins at four segments, stepping five cells a second. Every apple it eats makes it a little quicker, topping out at nine cells a second after 40 apples. A golden apple does not speed it up.
- The run ends when the snake hits a wall or its own body.
Scoring
- Each apple scores 10 points and each golden apple scores 50.
- Score is this run's total. Best is your best run, kept per player.
