How to play

  • Red plays first, then blue. P1 is you, the player who opened the app, and plays red. A second player joins by clicking the screen and takes blue.
  • Only the player whose turn it is can draw. Tap on or right beside a line between two dots to draw it in your colour.
  • Point at a line first and a faint copy shows where your tap would draw it. The line you drew flashes white for a second, so the other player sees where it landed.
  • Draw the fourth side of a box and you claim it - your face fills the box - and you draw again. Any other line passes the turn.
  • Level picks the size of the board: Easy is 5x5 boxes, Medium 7x7 and Hard 9x9. Every board has an odd number of boxes, so a game can never end in a tie.
  • The game ends when every line is drawn. Whoever claimed more boxes wins.
  • Level and New are there between games. Once the first line is drawn they give way to Resign, which hands the win to your opponent.

Scoring

  • Each side's column counts the boxes it has claimed this game. The higher count wins.
  • It also shows that player's record of games won and lost.
