Break the cells with your ball before the shaft is pushed past the red line.

How to play

  • The paddle follows your cursor left and right while it is over the field.
  • Click to launch the ball. At the start of a run and after a life is lost the ball rests on the paddle and the next click sends it off.
  • Dirt and sand break on one hit, stone on two and deepslate on three, wearing a crack as they go. Bedrock never breaks: cut it loose and it falls away.
  • Every few paddle hits the whole shaft drops a row and a fresh one appears at the top, and the deeper you dig the more often it happens. If any cell reaches the dashed red line the run is over.
  • Anything not joined to the ceiling wobbles, then falls, and so does sand over a gap. The side walls hold nothing up, so a chunk you carve out drops as one. Shoot a falling block for double its points, but if it lands on your paddle you lose a life. Falling bedrock only bounces the ball.
  • A lapis cell drops an extra ball, up to three in play at once.
  • The ball speeds up a little every ten cells you break, up to a top speed.
  • You have three lives. You lose one only when your last ball drops past the paddle.

Scoring

  • Dirt 5, stone 10, deepslate 20, sand 10. Ore adds to its stone: coal 25, iron 50, gold 100, lapis 50, diamond 250.
  • Score is this run's total. Best is your best run, kept per player.
